Systems Engineer reliability for quantum sensors (m/f/d)

As a systems engi­neer relia­bi­li­ty you are ensu­ring that our quantum sensors meet the require­ments for long term, sta­ble and safe ope­ra­ti­on under nor­mal envi­ron­men­tal con­di­ti­ons. This inclu­des the accoun­ting for relia­bi­li­ty aspects in the com­ple­te pro­duct development cycle. Fur­ther­mo­re you will be respon­si­ble for the defi­ni­ti­on and exe­cu­ti­on of relia­bi­li­ty tests tog­e­ther with our inter­nal development team as well as with our exter­nal part­ners. Your work will be embed­ded in an agi­le working team of optical‑, mechanical‑, electronics‑, and soft­ware engineers.

Your tasks

  • As a relia­bi­li­ty engi­neer you will be invol­ved in the deve­lo­pe­ment of mechanical‑, electrical‑, optical‑, and soft­ware systems and will be in char­ge of brin­ging in your ide­as for relia­bi­li­ty impro­ve­ments in all aspects of systems engineering 
  • Orga­niz­a­ti­on of design reviews 
  • Deve­lo­pe­ment and sup­port of in house relia­bi­li­ty tests in clo­se col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with our lab engineers 
  • Coor­di­na­ti­on of exter­nal relia­bi­li­ty and cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on tests 
  • pre­sen­ta­ti­on of results to inter­nal sta­ke­hol­ders as well as to exter­nal development part­ners and customers 

Your profile

  • Mas­ters degree in elec­trical engi­nee­ring, mecha­ni­cal engi­nee­ring or physics 
  • Pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in the field of relia­bi­li­ty engi­nee­ring and testing 
  • Capa­ble to work inde­pen­dent wit­hin an agi­le working team 
  • Good lin­gu­al skils in eng­lish (oral and written)
