Finance Controller (m/f/d)

As Con­trol­ler you are respon­si­ble for the con­trol­ling and repor­ting pro­ces­ses at the high-tech com­pa­ny Q.ANT. You are the main con­ta­ct per­son for busi­ness repor­ting and crea­te the necessa­ry trans­pa­ren­cy with your prag­ma­tic ana­ly­ses and KPIs. You ensu­re the qua­li­ty of the ent­i­re con­trol­ling infra­st­ruc­tu­re from cost type to cost unit accoun­ting. You Anti­ci­pa­te busi­ness chal­len­ges and are respon­si­ble for the plan­ning and bud­ge­ting pro­cess. You fur­ther deve­lop our ERP system with the asso­cia­ted KPIs and sup­port the CFO in decisi­on-making. Your Novel­ty dri­ves you to under­stand our pro­ducts and stra­te­gy and to put them into a com­mer­cial con­text. You will sup­port the who­le Team to deve­lop com­mer­cial­ly and be a busi­ness part­ner at eye level. Or in one short sen­tence: you will beco­me a real Q.ANTie.

Your tasks

  • Respon­sibility and exe­cu­ti­on of the con­trol­ling mon­th­ly clo­sing as well as reporting 
  • Main con­ta­ct per­son for Repor­ting and Con­trol­ling procedures 
  • Pre­pa­ra­ti­on of busi­ness analyses 
  • Set­ting up con­trol­ling pro­ces­ses, repor­ting stan­dards, KPI dash­boards as well as the necessa­ry infra­st­ruc­tu­re in a fast gro­wing high tech company 
  • Sup­port and exe­cu­ti­on of bud­ge­ting and forecasts 
  • Estab­li­shing cost trans­pa­ren­cy and target/actual com­pa­ri­sons, espe­cial­ly in R&D and pro­ject controlling 
  • Pre­pa­ra­ti­on of pre­sen­ta­ti­on and decisi­on documents 

Your profile

  • Suc­cess­ful­ly com­ple­ted stu­dies in eco­no­mics, busi­ness admi­nis­tra­ti­on or simi­lar studies 
  • Pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in con­trol­ling or finance 
  • Inte­rest and novel­ty in pro­duct development in high technology and start-up culture 
  • Very good under­stan­ding of busi­ness con­texts and a high level of analytics 
  • Con­fi­dent hand­ling of ERP tools (ide­al­ly SAP) and com­mon office tools 
  • High degree of inde­pen­dence, high moti­va­ti­on, com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and team skills 
  • Very good lan­guage skills in Ger­man and Eng­lish, both writ­ten and spoken
